Seastar’s cuisine is rooted in the philosophy of “thinking local while cooking global”. Likewise the wine program follows a similar philosophy. “Drinking local and drinking global”. The wine program features fifty wines by the glass and six hundred and fifty wines available by the bottle. Following the belief that great wine can be had at reasonable prices our guests can enjoy fifty wines priced under thirty dollars (“20 under 20…30 under 30’). Those seeking a hedonistic wine experience can indulge the palate without taking a bite out of the wallet by sampling one or all of eight super-premium wines stored using an Enomatic wine preservation system…the best wines in the world on tap!
All of our wine is stored in environmentally controlled Eurocave storage systems and all wine is serviced at the appropriate temperature. We pour all of our wines into varietal specific Riedel stemware by anyone of the certified Sommeliers on staff.
Seastar has become known as a training ground for prospective wine professionals by offering an extensive “Vinternship” program. The opening of a Seastar in Seattle allows us to tap even more budding wine professionals.
